Your inputs stay in your tab

Everything the calculator touches — battery size, charge levels, your electricity price, your car’s efficiency — is read by a script running inside your browser and written to your screen. There is no form submission, no API call, no analytics beacon behind it. You can confirm this yourself: open the network panel, use the calculator, and watch nothing leave. Or load the page, cut the network, and it keeps working — the math needs no server.

What serving the page requires

Fetching any page from any host exposes the metadata a connection needs: your IP address, the requested URL, timestamp, user-agent. Our pages are served by Cloudflare’s edge network, which processes that metadata to deliver content and filter abuse. EVCharge itself runs no user database, so there is nothing on our side for that metadata to accumulate into.

Advertising

Pages may include ads served by third parties such as Google AdSense. Those networks can set their own cookies or identifiers to count impressions and, where allowed, personalize what they show. That traffic happens between your browser and the ad network — your calculator inputs are not part of it because they were never transmitted. Google’s ad settings, a content blocker, or private browsing all control that relationship; the calculator works regardless.

The never list

• No first-party cookies — this site sets none.
• Nothing in localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB — close the tab and the session is gone.
• No accounts, no email capture, no “sign up to see your result.”
• No sale or sharing of usage data — there is no usage data on our side to sell.
